We're thrilled to share some incredible news from our weekend school in Madrid! This year, FAM Y LIAS made remarkable strides by organizing five engaging workshops at IES Magerit, a school in the vibrant neighborhood of Vallecas. These workshops aimed to ignite the curiosity and passion of students aged 13-14 by introducing them to various professions.
From meeting a journalist to learning from a nurse, each session was an eye-opener for our young participants. One standout moment was the visit from the Spanish national police in December, where students learned about the daily duties and responsibilities of police officers. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students rating the workshops a fantastic 9 out of 10!
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and engagement shown by the students. These workshops have not only broadened their horizons but also instilled a newfound confidence in their future career choices. Way to go, Madrid!
