As the Re‑Fashionable Project draws to a close, we look back on how two years of collaboration, creativity and commitment have seeded a lasting community dedicated to a more sustainable fashion future.
The start of something big
In December 2023 we gathered with project partners from Spain, Greece, Italy, Hungary and the Netherlands, all united by a common challenge: how to bridge sustainable fashion education and industry practices across five countries.
Building knowledge and connection
Through workshops, shared research, the creation of our “Green Thread Curriculum” (12 lessons) and the launch of our multilingual platform, we have offered professionals and educators across Europe a resource-rich framework to understand and act on circular fashion.
Why this matters
The fashion industry is undergoing rapid change. Consumer expectations, environmental regulations and new business models demand new ways of thinking. By engaging both industry professionals and consumers, Re-Fashionable has sought to create ripple effects: from the design studio to the classroom to the shop-floor.
What comes next
Although the funding period may be ending, our platform remains active and free. We invite you—whether you are a designer, educator, student or professional—to join the community, explore the materials, and connect with like-minded peers.
