Unfortunately, Studies show that there is a significant inequality in our society, both socially and economically. The closure of schools during the covid-19 pandemic has further disadvantaged socially vulnerable children, making it even harder for them to access quality education.
At weekend school, children get the chance to experience different professions and get in contact with individuals from various sectors and businesses, gaining a better understanding of the world and its possibilities. Our ultimate long-term goal is to establish weekend school education across Europe.
At the core of the project is the belief that children thrive when they enjoy learning. It goes beyond just doing well in school and completing homework. Weekend School education utilizes a non-formal approach that focuses on and nurtures each child’s unique talents.
